As Dean of Divinity and Chaplain Erica is responsible for services in our busy chapel. She is available to the whole college Â鶹app, students, staff and fellows, and also has a role at New College School. Her current research is on the development of interiority and the self in 16th- and 17th-century writing. She is the co-editor (with Peter McCullough) of vol. vii of (2025), and is the author of Women and Religious Writing in Early Modern England (CUP, 2004). She did her D Phil at Lincoln College, Oxford, and then was Reader in English Literature at Kingston University and a priest in the Diocese of Southwark until coming to New College in 2011.
